Short Notice Accreditation - are you ready?
Start with your clinical governance framework. Dr Sue Sinni, RN, RM will share her insights and useful tools in preparing for and assessing short-notice accreditation.

SUE SINNI
Sue is an accomplished nurse and midwifery leader. In her various roles, Sue has been responsible for quality and safety at major Victorian metropolitan health services. In her most recent role, Sue led clinical governance reform in preparing for Victoria’s first short-notice accreditation assessment against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
Sue’s PhD focused on patient safety. Her experience includes working in the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services as a senior advisor, and as a Chief Executive in the community sector in the family services environment. Sue’s clinical background is in perinatal care, having worked in and led maternity and neonatal services.
Sue’s expertise is in clinical governance, patient safety systems, consumer participation and feedback and policy development. Sue is also passionate about developing capabilities in emerging leaders and mentors emerging and established leaders in health and aged care. To that end, Sue has fostered staff participation in State-wide improvement projects. Sue remains involved in research projects.
