JEROME NG

Dr Jerome Ng is passionate about achieving better and more equitable health outcomes and people experiences through good clinical governance, innovation and informatics – especially for indigenous populations. Jerome is Clinical Director: Clinical Governance at Middlemore Hospital; a 900-bed facility with over 8,000 staff serving a population of >600,000 people and is Australasia’s busiest Emergency Department.

With almost 20 years of experience, Jerome has a successful award-winning track record in clinical governance, quality and medicines management development, redesign, strategy execution and delivery for higher performance. A diverse background from across practice, research and regulation- he has held senior clinical governance and quality leadership roles in large and small organisations and has been appointed to several national and regional advisory groups and committees –both inside and outside of health; drawing experiences from both public and private sectors including providing independent health systems consulting.

A New Zealand Institute of Director’s Emerging Director of the Year, a HealthRoundTable Innovation Fellow and NZ’s Pharmacist of the Year, he is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland; and holds an MBA, MPharmPrac and PhD. For a more detailed profile – please see here.
